Selten and Watch Ho & Co Jui Bring Craft, Culture, and Character on the Wrist

Thanks to Jackie of Watch Ho & Co, we had the rare privilege of holding this creation in our hands, even if only for a short time while it was under embargo.

The Tahitian Mother of Pearl dial, shaped with precise CNC work, shows a mountain pattern once seen on the armour of Ancient Chinese warriors.

Here, it speaks not of battle but of unity.

Rings weave through the mountains, echoing the bonds that connect the watch community.

The sword-shaped hands, made just for this watch, honour friendship rather than combat.

At two o’clock, the Chinese numeral for 2 sits quietly, nodding to heritage and marking the two-year anniversary of a growing club.

Every detail is planned.

The Selten case, made slimmer, gives an elegant frame.

Each dial was hand-selected by Leo of Selten Watches.

He said that 30 percent were set aside, rejected in the pursuit of perfection.

The surviving dials passed under magnification, through careful hands, and went through several cleaning cycles before earning their place.

Wearing this watch feels effortlessly natural, as if it belongs on my wrist.

The weight and balance are perfectly judged, giving it a quiet confidence without drawing attention.

Every movement of my wrist shifts the light across the dial, revealing subtle textures I hadn’t noticed at first.

The crown responds with satisfying precision, making every adjustment feel deliberate.

Even after hours of wear, the strap by HasNoBounds stays comfortable, letting me forget I’m wearing a watch at all.

This watch goes beyond timekeeping, with every detail nodding to the community that shapes it
